• Leading the strategy, architecture and process improvements for data architecture and data management, balancing long and short-term needs of the business
• Defining and maintaining a data information architecture and roadmap
• Experience with database performance tuning, areas of optimization and architectural improvements.
• Providing architectural advice and recommendations specific to internal customer requirements
• Designing, documenting, constructing and deploying database architectures
• Evaluating data management solutions and create improvement plans
• Evaluating emerging technologies against business and strategic needs
• Integrating technical functionality (e.g. scalability, security, performance, data recovery, data backup, data retention, data accuracy, reliability, etc.)

• At least one complete cycle of building a platform product from inception to large scale technical implementations
• Expertise and demonstrated skills in design and implementation of an enterprise data model, metadata solution, data security solution, data management solutions and associated tools
• Expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Management, Big Data, Analytics technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, RedShift or Hadoop
• Solid skills in multiple areas of technology such as system design, database design
• Solid skills in Internet technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
• Advanced expertise Analytics and working understanding of technologies such as R, SAS, Tableau, Microstrategy
• Expertise in high volume, transactional environments with third party business system integrations
• Strong ETL background using technologies such as DTS, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), command line and other technologies
• 10+ years technical, enterprise or data architecture experience
• Strong database design and development experience working in collaboration with full-stack developers and analytics teams

• Data Management Certifications such as CDP, CDMP
• Experience in NoSQL technologies
