In this role, you will design intuitive, secure, and mission-driven interfaces for data and AI-enabled products, directly supporting Department of Defense operational objectives.What You'll Be Doing:Design and develop user interfaces and user experiences for data, analytics, and AI-enabled platforms supporting Joint Staff missionsTranslate mission requirements, user feedback, and technical constraints into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designsCollaborate with product managers, technical leads, data scientists, and mission stakeholders to ensure interfaces are user-centric and aligned with operational workflowsApply industry best practices and DoD standards for usability, accessibility, and security in all design solutionsConduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design to refine interfaces and maximize user adoption and satisfactionDevelop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components for consistent application across products and PODsCommunicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams, advocating for strong user experience throughout the product lifecycleSupport deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of UI/UX solutions within secure DoD environmentsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Active TS/SCI security clearanceBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX design for complex applications, preferably in secure or federal environmentsProficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision)Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, accessibility, and visual design standardsExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-driven productsExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Master’s degree in a relevant disciplineExperience supporting Department of Defense, Joint Staff, or similar government organizationsFamiliarity with data visualization, analytics platforms, and AI-enabled product interfacesExperience designing for secure, cloud-based, or enterprise environmentsKnowledge of DoD usability, accessibility, and security standards (e.g., Section 508, NIST)Advanced certifications in UI/UX, human factors, or design disciplinesDemonstrated ability to lead user research, usability testing, and iterative design in large, matrixed organizationsSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
